Description: A tall flowering shoot is borne out of a basal rosette of hairy, blue-green leaves, and culminates in a bouquet of typical "blackeyed susan" like flowers. Becomes shrub-like if flowering shoot tip is browsed by rabbits or deer. Attractive to butterflies. Very drought tolerant once established. Only plant in sandy soil.
