This erect branching plant will bloom for many months as the tiny purple flowers make their way up the long flower stalks. The flowers have a unique crumpled-paper-like texture. Attracts hummingbirds, bees and butterflies. Full sun to partial shade. Blooms May-October. Grows in wet meadows, stream and pond margins and ditches.
