Plant Description

A robust, moisture-loving sunflower can reach 8 feet or more and produce hundreds of flowers.  It spreads by seed and can cover a large area.  This is one of Florida's most charming flowers.  Full sun to partial shade.  Blooms: September through November.  Habitat:  Marshes, prairies, meadows, pastures, wetlands, ditches and disturbed areas.
