Plant Description

 

Part of the Daisy/Aster family.  Flower spikes are branched attop and reach 2-3'.  Very attractive to bees and butterflies.  Good for accents, borders and Xeriscapes.  Full to partial sun.  Grows in Pine woods, dry oak hammocks, deciduous forests, and scrubby flatwoods.
