Plant Description

This shrubby plant has green leaves and reddish stems.  Blooms cover the plant with yelloe flowers made of heart shaped petals.  Attractive to butterflies and other pollinators.  It is a butterfly host and larval plant.  Blooms July through October in full sun to partial shade.  Height (in bloom): 2-5'.  Habitat:  Wetlands, Pond/lake margins, Wet meadows.
